Transitioning from Digital Technologies to the Digital Society

“数字技术和数字社会”国际学术研讨会征稿通知

The European University Cyprus and the International Digital Economy College of Minjiang University co-organize their first international Symposium with the theme “Transitioning from Digital Technologies to the Digital Society”.  The Symposium aims at providing a knowledge exchange platform for scientific researchers, academics, experts, and related professionals engaged in digital technologies, the digital economy, and innovation management. The main goals are to share scientific research achievements and knowledge on cutting-edge technologies, explore academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion on new areas of inquiry, and promote the industrialization and commercialization of academic and business research achievements.

The event is scheduled to be held in Nicosia, Cyprus from July 9^th to 12^th, 2024.

为给从事数字技术、数字经济和创新管理的科学研究人员、技术人员和相关人员提供学术交流平台，塞浦路斯欧洲大学与taptap点点入口国际数字经济学院联合，举办以“从数字技术到数字社会”为主题的国际学术研讨会。旨在分享科研成果和前沿技术，了解学术发展趋势，拓宽研究思路，加强学术研究和讨论，促进学术成果的产业化应用。

研讨会定于2024年7月9日至12日在塞浦路斯尼科西亚市举行。  

1.Theme

The symposium invites experts in digital economy, e-commerce, computer science and other related fields to give keynote presentations. Further scholars and industry practitioners to attend and actively participate in the various sessions of the Symposium.

研讨会邀请数字经济、电子商务、计算机科学等领域的专家在会议上发表主题演讲，并邀请学者和业者参加会议。

2.Roundtable Conference (Salon)

The symposium will establish a platform for cooperation and exchange between industry and scholars in the fields of the digital economy, management, and other related disciplines. A wide range of digital economy and innovation management experts, both academics and practitioners, are invited to take part in discussions on current relevant issues.

2.圆桌会议（沙龙）

研讨会将为数字经济、管理等相关学科领域的产学研合作与交流建立沟通平台。众多在数字经济和创新管理方面的专家，包括学者和企业家，将被邀请参加关于当前行业热门话题的讨论。

3. Sub-symposium report

The symposium will include sub-forums according to various topics, where the authors will present their papers in 15 minutes.

5.Call for Abstracts

The symposium is themed around the topic of "Transitioning from Digital Technologies to the Digital Society," aiming at exploring in-depth the impact of digital technologies on society and its implications for sustainability, smart cities, and sustainable development. Distinguished researchers, scholars, practitioners, and experts from diverse fields are encouraged to contribute by submitting scholarly papers, thus enhancing the academic discourse in this domain. The Symposium will provide a knowledge platform to foster dynamic discussions, facilitate valuable knowledge exchange and promote collaborative exploration of how digital technologies can drive positive change towards a sustainable future. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the transformative potential of digital technologies and their role in shaping a sustainable digital society.

5. 征稿

研讨会围绕“从数字技术向数字社会转型”，探讨数字技术对社会的深层影响及其对可持续发展、智能城市和可持续发展的影响。研讨会邀请来自不同领域的杰出研究者、学者、实践者和专家提交论文摘要。研讨会将提供平台，促进动态讨论，开展有价值的知识交流，合作探索数字技术的变革潜力及其在塑造数字社会和可持续社会方面的作用。

7.Submission Guide

Deadline for abstract submission: April 20^th, 2024

• Email to idec@mju.edu.cnfile name "Contributor Full Name + Symposium".

How to submit a Summary

• Submit the abstract (up to 250 words) by the above deadline.

• Paper abstracts will undergo a double-blind peer review and the results will be known within two weeks of the submission deadline.

• If the submitted abstract is accepted, the authors will be invited to register.

• The invited authors need to prepare the PPT and give a 10-minute presentation/speech, followed by 5 minutes of questions and answers.

如何提交摘要

• 请在截止日期前提交摘要（最多250字） 。

• 论文摘要将进行双盲同行评审，评审结果预计将在提交截止日期后2周内公布。

• 如果提交的摘要被录用，作者将被邀请注册参会。

• 被邀请参会的作者需要准备10分钟演讲PPT和5分钟问答环节。  

8.Proceedings published

Symposium proceedings will only include the abstracts of the papers to avoid conflicts with possible journal publication. All papers must be original and must not be submitted to other journals or Symposiums simultaneously.

8. 论文集出版

研讨会论文集仅以摘要形式出版，以避免与期刊出版冲突，所有论文必须为原创，不得同时提交给其他期刊或会议。

9.There are no registration fees for the Symposium. Travel and other expenses though, will be borne by the participants.

9. 本次研讨会不收取会务费，差旅食宿等费用参会者自理。
